Installation notes for Retroid Pocket 5
- Adreno 6xx is experimental: DirectX 11 via DXVK 2 may run; DirectX 12 games can still crash.
- Use the official GitHub Releases download and complete the child-process setup before the first Steam launch.
- Individual games are not yet tested on this device.
Use Android 9 or newer and allow about 3 GB for the Linux runtime. Install the runtime in-app, turn off Restrict child processes before the first Steam launch, then press Play. If Android hides that toggle, use DroidDeck’s “Fix it for me” wireless ADB pairing flow.
