Apply the GPU rules first
DroidDeck's graphics path uses Turnip drivers. The project's support policy names Adreno GPUs rather than all Android devices or all Snapdragon processors.
| GPU | Official verdict | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Adreno 730 or newer; Adreno 8xx | Supported | Meets the GPU requirement; game results still vary. |
| Adreno 6xx | Experimental | DirectX 11 via DXVK 2 may run; DirectX 12 games can still crash. |
| Adreno 710 | Unsupported | Excluded by the official requirements. |
| Mali / Xclipse / PowerVR | Unsupported | Outside the official graphics support list. |
Phone names can hide different GPUs
A model family can contain Snapdragon and Exynos variants in different regions. Check the GPU in your exact model rather than assuming that every phone with the same marketing name has the same verdict.
Android 9 or newer is also required. A new Android version does not make an unsupported GPU supported.
Experimental Mali forks are separate projects
A third-party experimental Mali fork exists outside official DroidDeck support. Its APK, drivers, releases, and support claims belong to that fork, not the Droid-Deck/DroidDeck project.
This guide does not treat that fork as an official download or a working Mali solution. The official verdict for Mali remains unsupported.
